If you’re a fan of the Witcher and Doom games, you might be tempted to get this season’s Battle Pass.
A new season (and, more importantly, a new Chapter) means a Battle Pass filled with never-before-seen rewards, all waiting to be unlocked to the fullest. Aside from the map changes and the Mythic/Exotic weapons, one of the most exciting parts of getting a new season for the battle royale is discovering what new cosmetics and skins are available to unlock in the Battle Pass. All of the skins you’ll find won’t be available in the Fortnite Item Shop (until the later seasons), so if you want to get the goods, you’ll have to purchase the latest Battle Pass and grind your way till the end of its pages.
For Chapter 4: Season 1, Epic Games has once again pulled out all the stops, with crossover characters from Doom and The Witcher making an appearance. If you’re having trouble deciding whether you should sink your hard-earned money into getting the Battle Pass or just want a sneak peek, here are all the cosmetic items you can get in Fortnite Chapter 4’s Battle Pass.
Let’s Talk Doom
We can’t talk about the Doom Guy for this one. The Doom Slayer is one of the two newest crossover skins in Chapter 4: Season 1. If you’re itching to play Fortnite with Mick Gordon’s works (Rip & Tear and BFG Division are our all-time favorites), this skin is a must-have. Fortnite account owners can obtain this skin by leveling up their Battle Pass to level 26 and trading 9 Battle Stars on Page 6. Since this is a Battle Pass outfit, you can’t buy it in the Fortnite Item Shop. Here are some of the items that you can unlock with the Doom Slayer skin:

- Phobos Armor Style (20 Battle Stars)
Page 5 of Chapter 4: Season 1’s Battle Pass
- Slayer’s Helm Spray (2 Battle Stars)
- Doom Slayer Loading Screen (3 Battle Stars)
- Cacodemon Glider (6 Battle Stars)
- Praetor Shroud Wrap (4 Battle Stars)

- Mini Slayer Fistbump Emote (7 Battle Stars)
- Cackle-Demon Emoticon (3 Battle Stars)
- Fall to their Doom Contrail (4 Battle Stars)
- Crucible Blade Harvest Tool (7 Battle Stars)
- Astro Armor Style (9 Battle Stars)
Midseason Drops to Expect
- Ember Armor Style (not available at the moment, so we don’t know how much Battle Stars it’ll be)
Geralt Makes An Appearance
Besides the Doom Slayer, we have the ever-charming Geralt of Rivia. Known as the lead character of The Witcher TV series on Netflix, books, and games, he finally makes his long-awaited debut in the battle royale. From the looks of it, the Geralt on Fortnite seems like a collaboration that uses CD Projekt Red’s depiction of the hero and not from the series. Note that this is a secret outfit for Chapter 4: Season 1—meaning it isn’t available at the start of the season. You’ll have to twiddle your thumbs a bit until its Quests are unlocked, and then you can finally complete them. Here are some of the items you can expect to go along with the Geralt of Rivia skin:

- Muscle Memory Spray
- Weapons of the Witcher Back Bling
- Geralt of Rivia Loading Screen
- Igni Sign Emote
- Witcher’s Steel Sword Harvesting Tool
Since all the items are on Page 1, you can unlock them immediately after purchasing this season’s Battle Pass.
Geno’s Debut
Fortnite’s lore has always been one of its main draws. Besides having a colorful cast of characters, the battle royale story is downright intriguing. Best of all, the villains—dare we say—have some of the best designs we’ve seen. For Chapter 4: Season 1, Geno makes his long-awaited debut in Fortnite. He’s the “true leader” of the Imagined Order, and according to Epic Games, he brings significant story ramifications. We can’t say for sure what those are right now, but we do know that The Seven and The IO are at odds, with The Paradigm might be decommissioned for the foreseeable future. If we consider these aspects, Geno’s side can strike the iron while the opportunity is hot since his foes are shorthanded.
Geno can also be found around the map—specifically, at the bottom of The Citadel. You can choose to face him if you want to get the Mythic weapon for this season: The Ageless Champion’s Ex-Caliber Rifle. It’s arguably the most powerful weapon since it’s the only Mythic.
Other Skins in the Fray
There are eight new skins in the Battle Pass. We’ve already talked about Doom Slayer and Geralt of Rivia, so let’s take a look at the other cosmetics you can find:
- Massai
- Selene
- Helsie
- Dusty
- The Ageless
- Nezumi
You can unlock the Selene skin immediately after you’ve purchased the Battle Pass, while the rest of the skins will be available as you level up and unlock more pages. Work your way up through each page of cosmetics and earn Battle Stars!
Until When Can You Buy Chapter 4: Season 1’s Battle Pass
Like clockwork, the Battle Pass will cost 950 V-Bucks, like the previous Battle Passes we’ve had so far. It is expected to end on March 10, 2023; you have over three months to unlock all the skins and other cosmetic items for your Fortnite account. There’s a chance that this date could be brought forward or pushed back, but that hasn’t occurred for quite a few seasons.
