First-person-shooter fans will be pleased to read that Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is now digitally available for download on PSN.
The game advances from Wolfenstein: The New Order, offering the same adventure themed first-person combat with an extension to the exciting storyline.
The storyline places you in 1946, where the Nazis aren’t far away from winning World War II. However, the Allies aren’t ready to allow this, and it’s up to B.J. Blazkowicz to take the Nazis on within the heart of Bavaria. Without giving too much away, there’s a part one and a part two to the game, the first involves breaking into Castle Wolfenstein, this will then lead you to part two, which takes you to the city of Wulfburg, where a crazed Nazi is exposing mysterious, and highly dangerous artefacts that threaten to release a dark and ancient power.
With a lack of World War 2 first-person-shooters currently available, this is perhaps the closest you’ll get right now. If you haven’t played Wolfenstein: The New Order, it’s recommended you get this before jumping on to The Old Blood.
If your connection isn’t up the large download, you can pick up the physical version of the game on the 15th May.
