Tales of Eternia Remastered marks the first time the beloved PlayStation-era JRPG has been remastered for modern platforms. Developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, this enhanced edition brings the timeless tale of two intertwined worlds to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on October 16, 2026.

The game tells the story of Reid Hershel and his childhood friend Farah Oersted, who live in the remote Inferian village of Rasheans. Their lives are forever changed when they encounter a mysterious girl named Meredy, who has arrived from the distant world of Celestia. As the group sets out to discover Meredy's origins, they uncover a catastrophic threat — a collision known as the "Great Fall" that threatens to destroy both Inferia and Celestia. Harnessing the power of elemental spirits known as the Greater Craymels, Reid and his companions embark on an epic journey to save both realms from annihilation.

Tales of Eternia is renowned for its Aggressive Linear Motion Battle System (A-LMBS), which enables diverse Arte usage, continued combos, and coordination with each unique party member. The real-time 2D battle system is fast-paced and dynamic, letting players outmaneuver enemies and chain together devastating attacks. The remaster preserves this beloved combat while adding modern quality-of-life features that make the experience more accessible than ever.

New additions include destination markers to guide players through the world, the ability to disable random enemy encounters for those who want to focus on story, and a high-speed mode during auto-battle for grinding.
